LED Lamps

These light weight long lived head lamps and flash lights just keeping getting better. They are brighter and whiter than ever. Their light weigh, small size, and long battery life make them perfect for bicycle touring. These lights are perfect for reading in the tent, working on you bike in the dark, or walking back to your tent at night.

You'll be able to read every night and not have to replace batteries. In fact you can just carry the lamp and 1 set of back-up batteries for a multi-week tour. That's a major weight saving.

My favorite is the Princeton Tec Aurora ... LED Head Lamp. This lamp has 3 LEDs, a wide head band, 3 light levels and strobe, plus it pivots up and down so it points where you want to look.

I also love their micro-lights. These little lights take up no space and last much longer than a flash light. They are remarkable always carry one on your bike and one in your rain gear.
